ZPMC LAUNCHES MULTIX IMPACT E AND CIOS FIT

Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc. (ZPMC) strengthens access to quality healthcare by launching the first of its kind in the Philippines, the 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘅 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗘 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿-𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗫-𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 and the state-of-the-art 𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗦 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗖-𝗔𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 on March 21, 2025. The event was attended by hospital personnel, as well as representatives from Siemens Healthineers Philippines.

Globally, many patients still have limited access to quality digital X-ray imaging. The MULTIX Impact E is designed to improve access to care and to open new opportunities for digital imaging – for everyone, everywhere. The versatile floor-mounted radiography system features easy, intuitive system operation and detects anatomical details at a low dose. It also features quality imaging, providing smooth patient positioning, easy and intuitive system handling, and safely and efficiently scans patients.

Moreover, the CIOS Fit is engineered for streamlined OR workflows, enabling single-assistant operation with its lightweight and maneuverable design. Built for high-intensity use, its durable construction features a shock-resistant SD card, minimizing downtime and costs. Integrated smart radiation and power management, including a pediatric mode, ensures optimal safety for all OR personnel. Imaging is simplified through one-touch optimization and 380° C-arm angulation, while its compact size facilitates easy transport.

With its powerful imaging technology, surgeons can maintain consistency with crystal-clear images of anatomical structures, implants, screws, and devices, resulting in accurate treatment and thus improving patient experience.

“At ZAMPEN, we believe that access to advanced medical technology is a necessity. The installation of these state-of-the-art machines enhances diagnostic accuracy, streamlines imaging, and improves patient outcomes, ensuring faster, safer, and more precise care,” said Roy Joseph Y. Young, ZPMC President and CEO.

“This moment is about more than just new equipment—it’s about progress, innovation, and our unwavering commitment to serving our community. Today, we reaffirm our mission to bridge the gap between technology and accessible healthcare, making world-class medical services available to all,” he added.

“Let this moment remind us that every innovation is not just about advancing technology, but about the lives we touch. This marks a new chapter where enhanced capabilities meet compassionate care, ensuring that every patient in Zamboanga receives the treatment they deserve,” concluded Michael Schmermer, President and Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers Philippines.

This investment demonstrates ZPMC’s unwavering commitment to providing its patients with the most advanced medical technologies available. These systems will not only enhance the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities but also elevate patient care in the region.
